# What’s Trending pricing

All prices below are in United States dollars. The application shows the final checkout amount before a purchase. A subscription is workspace-specific.

Included:

- No payment card required for that first scan.
- Public-source collection supported by the configured collectors.
- Trend and engagement dashboard.
- Original source links and available engagement fields.
- Source-backed content opportunities.
- Free browser-based research tools and planning templates.
- Saved first-scan results in the workspace.

Limits:

- The Free preview does not include recurring scans.
- The Free preview does not include REST API or MCP access.
- A completed free scan must be upgraded before another scan can run.

## Weekly — $20 per month or $192 per year

The Weekly plan keeps a customer-conversation workspace refreshed every seven days. Annual billing is equivalent to $16 per month and is charged as $192 per year.

Included:

- One full scan every seven days.
- Seven-day trial.
- Trend and engagement dashboard.
- Original public source URLs and available engagement.
- Recurring customer-interest reports.
- WordBank and selected competitor monitoring.
- Saved evidence and content directions.

Limits:

- The minimum scan interval is seven days.
- REST API keys and MCP tools are not included.
- Source coverage remains subject to public-data availability and configured integrations.

## Pro — $50 per month or $480 per year

The Pro plan is for frequent monitoring and agent integrations. Annual billing is equivalent to $40 per month and is charged as $480 per year.

Included:

- Unlimited total scans while the subscription is active.
- Manual and scheduled scans as often as once per hour.
- Daily and less-frequent schedule choices.
- REST API access at [api.whatstrending.cc](https://api.whatstrending.cc).
- Streamable HTTP MCP tools at [api.whatstrending.cc/mcp](https://api.whatstrending.cc/mcp).
- Workspace-scoped API keys that can be revoked in Settings.
- Ranked trend and source-evidence reads.
- Agent-triggered live scans, limited to once per hour per workspace.
- Trend and engagement dashboard and recurring reports.

Limits:

- An API key belongs to one workspace and must remain server-side.
- An agent-triggered scan changes workspace history and is rate-limited to once per hour.
- Unlimited total scans does not mean unlimited concurrent or sub-hourly scans.
- Public-data coverage and available engagement fields vary by platform.

## Billing and plan changes

- Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
- Annual subscriptions renew annually until cancelled.
- The application displays the checkout total before payment.
- Billing management is available to signed-in users with an active subscription.
- A change to Pro can take effect immediately with provider-calculated proration.
- A change from Pro to Weekly is scheduled for the next billing date.
- Cancellation stops future renewal according to the billing portal’s displayed effective date.

## What agent access means

Agent access is part of Pro. It includes authenticated REST endpoints and MCP tools for the same workspace data. It does not give an agent access to another workspace, private platform data, account billing operations, or credentials stored by the application.

## Data boundaries

What’s Trending works with public content and authorized platform surfaces. Platform availability, retention, and engagement fields can change. Source URLs should be reviewed before a trend or content direction is treated as a factual market claim.
